Last week I went with a group of engineers to tour the light rail maintenance yard and ride the train. I saw where they are putting the rail cars together, and learned a little about the project.
It was fun. I'm sure I will consider light rail for a mode of transportation as the system develops further. Here are some pictures.

Scott, maybe you can answer this for me...How economic is the light rail? I mean, for the state. How much does it cost to have that thing travel even 10 miles? In your professional opinion, do you feel it was worth it?
