Family History Day

Recently, I've been getting really into my family's history. My grandparents and great grandparents were very very good journal writers. The quantity and quality is astounding. Also, my grandpa was an amateur photographer, so my dad has many albums of old photos of family who I never knew.

Learning and reading about my ancestors is becoming very addicting and my Dad has much, much more information that needs to be organized, sorted, and explored. So, we decided to have a family history day and give anyone of our family the opportunity to uncover more information that about our past that we didn't know.

Some scanned and labeled pictures, others sorted through boxes of journals, and other documents.

I think everyone who came was glad they did. It was fun.
